Everything comes to an end.

A harsh and painful truth. Sooner or later we all need to face this, at one time or another.

And in today’s economic climate, it’s likely to be you or me next. Especially, if you’re in the cutthroat realm of business.

Just this morning, I read the news of Tesla slashing 10,000 jobs.

Imagine that — 10,000 souls, many of whom had devoted years to building their careers, now find themselves on uncertain ground overnight.

Poof!

Their dedication and hard work (and for some, their life’s work), were seemingly erased in a blink.

Extreme changes like this serve as a reminder that there is always an end. A stable life is transitory at best.

Could there be a silver lining for those affected?

For them, isn’t this also an opportunity for reinvention and growth?
