My wife is always nagging me about my baggy cargo shorts.

I love my shorts and baggy Hawaiian shirts. When I’m out and about I want to be comfortable, sip an espresso at my favorite cafe, and ponder.

Maybe, my wife remembers the ’90s when big and baggy was in? I’m not sure, however, she’s slowly come to realize that my shorts are staying.

We all know that aging is a part of life, but if you don’t embrace it and live the life you want, you might miss out on the joy it can bring.

It’s easy to fall into the mindset that getting older means slowing down and sticking to a routine or fitting into aging stereotypes.

Fortunately, that isn’t the case at all. Living life fully — one of the most rewarding pursuits — is what I consider to be the best approach to aging. Not because it’s the easiest path, but because it’s filled with vibrant and fulfilling experiences.

Do we want to embrace life as we get older?
